What is SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) Funding?

Applicable For:
SME is defined as an enterprise minimum of 30% local shareholding; AND Company's Group annual sales turnover not more than $100 million OR Company's Group employment size not more than 200 workers
Singapore Citizens aged 21 - 39 years old
Singapore Permanent Residents
Funding Amount:
Up to 70% of course fees subsidy available for SSG-funded courses, capped at S$50/training hour.

Absentee Payroll
S$7.50 per training hour
Applicable For:
Singaporeans aged 21-39 years old
Singaporeans Permanent Residents (PR)

Up to 50% of course fees subsidy available for SSG-funded courses, capped at S$15/training hour.

Applicable For:
Singaporeans aged ≥ 40 years old
*Age counted based on the year the individual turns 40

Absentee Payroll
S$4.50 per training hour
Absentee Payroll (AP) funding is a grant to help employers defray the manpower costs incurred when they send their employees for SSG-approved courses during working hours.
For training conducted outside working hours, the grant is meant to alleviate the opportunity costs incurred by the employees. Hence, the funding is to be paid to the employees together with the mandatory top-up by the employer.

What is SkillsFuture Credit?
The Government of Singapore has given Credits for Singaporeans to use to subsidize their training course fees. It can be used on top of the current existing subsidies available by the Government.
Applicable for:
Singaporeans aged > 25 years old
Funding Amount:
S$500
Utilizing the Credit:
Students may enroll directly with us under our SSG-funded courses.
For first time users, you are required to log in and update your profile on your SkillsFuture Credit account.
Payment of course fee can be made 30 days before the course commencement date, or on the first day.
The Post-Secondary Education Account (PSEA) Scheme is part of the Government’s efforts to encourage every Singaporean to complete his/her post-secondary education. It also underscores the Government’s commitment to support families in investing in the future education of their children and to prepare them for the economy of the future. This scheme is administered by the Ministry of Education (MOE) and is opened automatically for all eligible Singaporeans.
You may use your PSEA account to pat for any courses that are listed on SkillsFuture SG website.

Enhanced Training Support Package and Enhanced Absentee Payroll to mitigate COVID-19
The Enhanced Training Support Package (ETSP) is part of the Stabilisation and Support Package and supplementary Resilience Budget announced by DPM Heng Swee Keat. The ETSP will be time-limited to cover eligible courses in selected sectors starting before 1 Jan 2021. This is to help selected sectors tide over the economic impact of COVID-19, and to help them position themselves for subsequent recovery.
From 1 May 2020, the enhanced absentee payroll rates will be further extended to cover all sectors. This will apply to all courses that are eligible for absentee payroll funding today, e.g. selected courses by SSG-appointed CET Centres or certifiable courses by other SSG-approved training providers. Employers are advised to check with the training providers on the courses that are eligible for absentee payroll funding.
The ETSP will be time-limited to cover eligible courses starting before 1 Jan 2021.

The ETSP will be time-limited to cover eligible courses starting before 1 Jan 2021. Enterprises (both SMEs and non-SMEs) are eligible for funding under the ETSP if they send their employees for training which commence within the following periods:

The training will focus on priority and emerging skills that the sector requires. Examples of these courses include:
a. Training in emerging digital skills
Employers are advised to check with SSG-appointed training providers for the list of sector-specific training programmes which are eligible for the enhanced course fee funding under ETSP.
From 1 May 2020, the enhanced AP rates will apply to all courses that are eligible for AP funding today, e.g. selected courses by SSG-appointed CET Centres or selected certifiable courses by other SSG-approved training providers. Employers are advised to check with training providers on the courses that are eligible for AP funding.
