If you are a Singapore Citizen aged 40 or above, the SkillsFuture Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy can cover up to 90% of the course fee.
As an SSG-approved training provider, ITEL offers SkillsFuture funding on all courses marked (SF).

Browse the course catalogueStart with CompTIA Security+ (SF). It covers the core of cybersecurity, including threats, cryptography, identity management, secure networks and incident response, and is eligible for SkillsFuture funding. If you will be working with servers or security tools, CompTIA Linux+ adds the Linux skills most security work relies on.
Not for the beginner courses, though basic familiarity with computers and networks helps. Professional and expert courses such as Security Analysis and Penetration Testing (SF) and Information Systems Security (SF) assume a working foundation in networking and security. Some certifications also have experience requirements; CISSP, for example, requires relevant work experience before you can be fully certified. Singapore Citizens and PRs aged 21 and above can receive up to 70% course fee funding on courses marked (SF). Singapore Citizens aged 40 and above can receive up to 90% under the SkillsFuture Mid-Career Enhanced Subsidy. NTUC members can also claim UTAP on eligible courses. Each course page has a funding calculator that shows your estimated fee.
Choose by the role you want. For security operations, start with CompTIA Security+ and progress to CySA+. For penetration testing, take CEH and then Security Analysis and Penetration Testing (SF), which is based on EC-Council’s CPENT. For network security, take Network Defender (CND) and FortiGate. For incident response and forensics, take ECIH and Cyber Forensics Investigator (CHFI). For leadership roles, take Information Systems Security and then Strategic Cyber Security Leadership.
Most courses run in a physical classroom at ITEL, 111 Somerset Road. CompTIA CySA+, SC-900 and FortiGate 7.2 Security are delivered live online via Zoom or Microsoft Teams. Selected courses offer weekday-morning or evening schedules.
Courses range from 7 hours (SC-900, a single day) to around 42 hours (CEH). Most SkillsFuture-funded courses are about 40 hours. Check each course page for the current intake dates and class schedule.
A class marked Guaranteed-to-Run will go ahead on its scheduled dates, so you can book leave and plan around it with confidence.
