Course Description

This course teaches IT Professionals how to manage core Windows Server workloads and services using on-premises, hybrid, and cloud technologies. The course teaches IT Professionals how to implement and manage on-premises and hybrid solutions such as identity, management, compute, networking, and storage in a Windows Server hybrid environment.

Learning Outcomes

Deploy on-premises and hybrid Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) infrastructures, directory synchronisation, and delegated identity permissions
Manage Windows Server instances and hybrid workloads using remote administration tools, Just Enough Administration (JEA), and Azure Arc
Configure Hyper-V host environments, virtual machine settings, and guarded fabric security controls
Arrange Windows Server containers and Kubernetes clusters across hybrid environments
Plan Azure IaaS virtual machine provisioning, image customisation, and Desired State Configuration (DSC)
Implement hybrid networking infrastructures, including DHCP, DNS, IPAM, remote access, and cross-premises VPN routing
Implement advanced storage technologies, Storage Spaces Direct, high-availability storage solutions, and Azure File Sync hybrid file services
