Overview
Six Sigma seeks to improve the quality process outputs by identifying and removing the causes of defects, errors, failures and minimizing variability in service, transactional, manufacturing and other business processes. Each Six Sigma project carried out within an organization follows a defined sequence of steps namely Define, Measure, Analyze and Control (DMAIC) and has quantified financial targets (cost reduction or profit increase).
